About Me

My name is John Walker and I’m a lifelong baseball player and fan. I started playing as soon as I could hold a bat, ball, and glove. My baseball journey started in Northern Virginia, then took me to Farmville, where I pitched for 4 years at Longwood University.

The first glove I have a memory of was a tan Mizuno with a velcro wrist strap. I’ve played infield with an SSK (before/after pictures above) and a Rawlings HOH (lost to the baseball ether). I’ve pitched with a Wilson A2000 (the one with the dial that tightened the wrist) and a Louisville Slugger (pictured to the right).

I know gloves, I love gloves. You can trust me with yours!
